i googled slipknot to see the news and it looks like shawn crahan is sitting out all their upcoming tour dates too

ever since they kicked joey jordison out + corey kicked jim root out of stone sour to essentially write a new slipknot album... i always got the vibe that corey runs everything and this is hardly a band anymore

As much as I appreciate WANYK and Jay's abilities, it's just not the same. That Big Day Out show they did in 2005 is still one of the most energetic performances I've ever seen. I use it for gym motivation to this day.

Dynamo 2000. One of the greatest live performances I've ever seen to this day. Or their debut performance at Ozzfest 99'

Oh shit Craig is out??? Damn. Doesn't even feel like Slipknot anymore. I think it's about time for a disbanding sadly, especially considering how mid the last album was.

Can't go wrong with those either. Up through around 2008 they were just on fire. So glad I saw them before all the lineup changes.

Ya they're a good live band. Saw them 2009 when they headlined a festival I used to go to and they delivered.

It's still crazy how much "Scissors" comes across as a genuine psychotic breakdown
I feel like Slipknot never got enough credit for how downright disturbing and demented they could sound at times

I never see them live even tho they came to my country once, but you can tell from footage that their early 2000's perfomances where unreal
