Let me put it this way, I can stand some deathcore and even enjoy a small amount, but I wouldn't care if every deathcore band fell off the face of the earth.

I hate dubstep for the most part. I can enjoy some deathcore All Shall Perish, Glass Casket, Beheading of a King, Animosity, and The Contortionist. I occasionally enjoy some The Acacia Strain as well because of their live shows. Other than that though I really don't find myself liking the genre because these are the few of the MANY deathcore groups out there.

I'm going by a lot of the people I know that were REALLY into deathcore that have now moved onto dubstep.

deathcore and dubstep are similar in that most artists of both genres make repetitive and formulaic music
which is why people who like deathcore in the first place switch to dubstep easily
those kinds of people listen to brocore and brostep, Deviant knows loads of dubstep that isn't brostep

Yeah, I can really see the correlation between fans of deathcore and "brostep" heh. It seems that it's written in some people's DNA to flock to particular genres.
