yeah I don't get the appeal of this at all. The production is so horrendous that I can't get immersed in this. Basically the same sound quality that you would find in some cheap 90s electric toy that makes noises. I get that this is what they were going for but it doesn't do anything for me at all

I'd love to know examples of what you consider bad production lol. I mean I get that they were going for this sound but personally I really hate it. The drums and the bass are basically non-existing and the guitar sounds super thin. It sounds like a teenagers first homemade 4-track recording.
