There is only one thing that matters here, and its going to keep all the old nancyboy metal fans from appreciating this: HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS IS HEAVY

so in all honesty, BMTH-bashers and fangirls aside, is the album really that bad? i have only heard two tracks and was not impressed. sounded like a less fun version of Suicide Season, which was hit or miss for the most part.
And from what i'm hearing, the new guitarist does not impress anyone. saw em at warped and he could not pull off 'Braille' or 'Pray For Plagues.'

Wow, I'm a bit astounded by all the negative ratings. There are some great songs on this album, and even in the more bland songs, there are some seriously interesting, sometimes beautiful sections (the last minute of Anthem). Definitely 3.5-4

I really dislike BMTH. A good friend of mine also shares this trait with me, but he told me to download their new album and assured me that I'd get some enjoyment out of it.



And I did. This album is catchy and is an enjoyable listen (as is Suicide Season, which I downloaded after this). Do they still need work? Yes. But they've redeemed themselves slightly, in my book. Would I say I'm a BMTH fan now? Nah, but I'm excited to see what direction they go in now, because it's already much better than the shit they were doing before.



I love the everliving shit out of Blacklist.
