Still underappreciated (the Steve Wilson mix at least)

Counter cw discog run, train station, stop, here; honestly can say that I am not familiar with this album, peculiar one, he is. Pretty good so far, jazzy, creative, imo.

Listening session on remastered 2000 japan version.

T/t is the great beast here.

For me it's clearly third best after Red and the debut. I recommend many listens to side 1, it's so quirky and weird that it needs time to sink in. But by now every of these songs absolutely wallops me... especially Cirkus is a top 5 KC song. But yeah, T/T is incredible too.. Being a prog epic and a parody of a prog epic at the same time and simultaneously working well as both (if that makes any sense)

Paradoxical sense, totally deep coherence.

This album has good flow and no bad tracks, only thing I really dislike is the dumb ass effects they put on the vocals for happy family. Super distracting.

Nah, TAAB destroys this as far as I'm concerned. This is probably my least favorite 70s Crimson album (still good though)

I think I'd agree that this is the weakest 70's crimson yeah.

Yeah, Islands is underrated as hell. Sailor's Tale and Formentera Lady alone should be enough to keep it out of the bottom spot :]
