Its top 3 on Sabotage though

I will concede that it's an unusual song for Sabbath, in that it's kinda cheery when compared to many of their gloomier classics.

Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it because I've got no reason to lie!

Born Again has its moments. Disturbing the Priest and Zero the Hero are great

trashed and disturbing the priest are my favorites on it.

the t/t on Born Again is a 5/5 song for me, Zero the Hero is great too, with a good production could be around a 3.8 for me

No worries Ars, it's just discussion. Having listened to Sabotage today, I can understand why that song would be your fave by them.
Having said that, I still say Into the Void >.

"Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it because I've got no reason to lie!" Is a lyric from
"Thrill of It All" incase you haven't noticed. lol
but fair enough. It's funny "Into the Void" was never a particular standout for me. I didn't even
know people loved it so much until I came to Sput lol

When you hear the opening riff how on earth can it not be a standout. Seriously

I'm guessing Ars got into Sabbath after already being into many other bands. Some (or many, I'm not sure) people tend to look new music through the lens of past musical experiencies, so I'm guessing that kinda explains his preferences.

It's pretty easy honestly when I've heard Sabbath riffs I prefer before it.

Its the song that defines the band for me. They never doomed harder again.

Well I never specifically preferred the "doomier" tracks. Of course, Sabbath is awesome they do the whole doom thing, but there's definitely more to them than that.
Automatically regarding the doomy trackers more highly is kind of a shallow outlook on such a diverse band, don't you think?

I dont automatically regard them as better, I just view Into the Void as the pinnacle of their sound. I do obviously
lean more towards the doomier tracks, but they pulled off the whole progressive thing perfectly on albums like this
and Sabotage. Every one of their first 6 is different and thats what makes them such an amazing band.
