Little musical moments on Beggars that are uncanny to ones found on other Thrice albums and those of Thrice's "recommended listening" make Beggars feel more than than Thrice, and as a result somehow less singular and individualistic than any album before it.

personally i've found thrice's last couple albums to all be 3.5s. kind of overrated by sputnik. i honestly don't listen to this band hardly at all.

3.5s are kinda hard for me to give out. It usually means I enjoy between 1/2 and 2/3 of the album and it's pretty close to a 4 so I don't understand why people say stuff like that.
