these guys are really hit or miss

not the best of the drone groups, but they have their moments. Seeing as their new one is going to be strictly 1LP, I suppose the new one is going to be more focused than their other albums hopefully.

I think this band is pretty divisive in general, it isn't hard to see why but I love this kind of stuff. The dark moody textures, filled with detailed noise. The harsh textures add a plodding menacing tone that set the pace and bring it all together so well in a way that says 'stay a while and see the sights' an album that in a sense in relaxing, it demands your attention and it sucks you in so well, hypnotizing you to just sit back and try to understand what any of this is.

I feel like this album gets undue hate simply because of the band's reputation and back catalogue. There's actually a lot going on on this one but people still only focus on long notes and feedback

I was under the impression that if one you know, listens to drone and enjoys it, they like it. apparently you can only be a tr00 drone fan if u like the right bands that play the right drawn out brown notes.
