The guitar chording on this album is next level shit. After years, I've still never heard anything else like it. Rob Marton was genius. I think the thing that sets this apart from a lot of grind records is that the sheer amount of melody underneath the dissonance allows it to tap into sadness and depression and contemplativeness in addition to the pure anger you find so often in the genre.
