Yeah I mostly listen to You Fail Me, but Jane Doe is still the best. No other metalcore album gives me that overwhelming tingly feeling Jane Doe reaches around Bitter and Then Some.

listened to this again recently and it still slays
two new songs from the split sound pretty awesome too

I've never listened to anything from them besides this album. The EP's are supposed to be pretty good but if they are less post-hardcore than this I'm not as interested.
I should really bump my rating for this.

if you want sth similar to the LP, I'd probably get the Untitled EP first; it contains only two songs but they're pretty similar in sound to "Somewhere at the Bottom.." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nev2O5hgtqc)
You'd probably like "Vancouver" too, their first EP; Jordan sounds really different on it imo; he got a much rawer sound..

you probably wouldnt like the rest of their discography since the "Here, Hear" EPs are veeery experimental.. basically just some poems performed by band members (Jordan can be heard singing in only two or three songs)
This song most similar to their actual sound (but still, its so different) is this:

Yeah, you'd probably really like the Untitled EP Sniper
and the Here, Hear's are so awesome, but if you're only looking for post-hardcore stuff you might not like them as much, like Doubt said. They're definitely worth a shot though
and Doubt, is the split out now then?

I think its out in three days; I've listened to "Why It Scares Me" on youtube and "How I Feel" can be streamed on their myspace page.. too bad its just like five minutes of material from them =/

I think the EPs are pretty great, but Vancouver didn't do much for me

Vancouver > This imo.

To Withstand The Force Of Storms is better than anything on here except maybe Damaged Goods.
Only my opinion though.

Nah it's not a 5.
But this is not a 4.
so if we're gonna get technical, this would be a 4.4 and Vancouver a 4.6
Whisper secrets, speak in a hushed voice, the first thing that you learn is that you never let them hear you. IN A SOUNDPROOF ROOM! IN A WINDOWLESS WORLD.

nah, this is better

Fuck it, I'll just get the rest of their discog and figure out what I like.
They need to make a whole album of songs just like Such Small Hands, Nobody, Not Even the Rain, and Fall Down, Never Get Back Up Again.

Good review. I think A to B trumps this album ever so slightly.

Probably joking.
But lol either way.
