Just heard this for the first time. Not too bad, the album has it's moments actually. Black and Blue and Tell Slater are good songs. And the solo in Medusa is nice, rest of the song sucks though. Actually, that's with almost all songs on the album, 1 good part, rest is shit.

I liked the part where they were all "herwfjhwekfjwe,d" and then did a breakdown, but then went all "kjcnwsfkjhejkfdk" over the breakdown. That waz br00tal.

[quote=i am the robots]what am I wrong about? BMTH being melodic death?

Ok so too many people fuckin hate the band for almost no reason. musically they are pretty sick. the guitars are pretty badass, the drums are perfect for the genre, and Oli is one hell of a vocalist no matter how you look at it. even live, the kid does some fuckin work.

This album as a whole, is pretty great. i mean its heavy as hell, from song to song it flows well. its exactly what BMTH wanted; something heavy&hard thats fun to listen to. they weren't out to break boundaries or comment on the social issues in the world today.. they just wanted to make a fuckin album.

They are Deathcore to the fullest. not metalcore(not augustburnsred-enough for that). BMTH do what they do, and they do it well.

This album is terrible. Generic, boring, and repetitive. Sorry, mechatanner.

I love watching them play this stuff live. Half the time Oli gets the crowd to do the vocals that are in the higher registered range, he can't hit the (blatantly) studio-edited lows... its just funny. Especially on the Live In Mexico DVD where they can't even play this... which is sad, due to its musical simplicity.

It's not COMPLETELY awful like everyone says though, it has it's moments

Meh. It pisses me off, substantially, due to its pseudo-technical approach. Just makes it seem all the more pretentious. Their song writing makes THA's Nocturne look like modest mastery. The overly processed vocals don't help. Nor does the absurdly bad lyrics.
