LOL

Yeah, I think I tried putting this on for one of my friends and it just didn't work out at all.

"Yeah, this is cool. Hey, have you listened to that Strapping Young Lad album we've both been listening to over the past decade? Yeah, put that on instead."

Damn, I'd take Ulver over any Devin Townsend tbh.

Ulver and Devin are close but for totally different reasons. Devin is a bit easier to show people, for Ulver I need like an hour so they can listen to the full album without talking to me, and then another half hour with a cup of coffee or wine to let it sink in. It's not that easy lol

My closest friend listened to this album and asked me if I had ever listened of Ulver. I said yes. He told me he loved this album and I agreed it's awesome. We hung up. It was nice and simple.

This wouldn't be at all fitting for office listening for me. Work is one of the last places I'd think of listening to this.

Currently listening to Silence Teaches You to Sing while coding. Post BM Ulver gets me through the week.

I'm in quality control in the appraisal department - I look at appraisals across the country online all day and e-mail people to tell them they're doing something that the bank doesn't want or whatever. So basically I never have to take out my headphones, unless I have lunch with my brother or something.

I meant I don't see it as being fitting for a general office environment. I don't listen to music at work but I imagine if I did I wouldn't appreciate this or ambient-related music in general as much as I would in a more fitting environment.

I work at an office (and at home) - it's fine, really. Probably not as ideal as drinking mead on top of a mountain right before sunrise, but it's fine.

Interesting opinion. I find it to be the best music to listen to while working. Favorite work albums include:

Ulver - Post BM Discog

Nature and Organisation - Death In A Snow Leopard Winter

Ludovico Einaudi - Divenire

Tenhi - Discog (mostly Maaaet though

Vali - Skogslandskap

Myrkur - Mausoleum

Fabrizio Paterlini - Autumn Stories

all of these get me in the zone

Any fans of the score for Svidd neger? It's not quite on par with their best releases, but it's still crazy underrated.

Aside from the movie samples it's excellent yea, along with Lyckantropen Themes, Teachings in Silence, and Fix of Melancholy.
