It wasn't. At all. Au contraire. Reminds me of the first time I saw 2001: A Space Odessey. I had no idea that film was so.. dark. And creepy. Personally, I think that movie's cinematography and soundtrack makes it the creepiest movie ever made. It's so hopelessly real that it makes you depressed. I can't handle that movie. Alien, Poltergeist and The Exorcist haven't got shit on 2001.
