J. thinks its going to be "equal if not a lot better than Ladies and Gentlemen.” i take it with a grain of salt considering hes the one who wrote these albums, but still, a hefty claim.

In 37 years I've donned plaid, screamed along with icons, convalesced with the classics, I've swam the depths of jazz, driven with krautrock and pondered with prog. I've spat at sput and during my time uncovered treasure but this still remains unbeaten. This is THE album.

I don't listen to this enough. Need to hear more of their stuff too even though I doubt any of it will match this.

Got this baby on vinyl yesterday, listening to it in full now for the first time in a while. What a fucking beauty.

I spun it last night and this morning as a result. Nothing can top it tbh.

Wasn't cheap no, I buy stuff pretty rarely though. It was worth it I'd say, I'm no audiophile so the audio quality is totally fine for my ears. The track arrangement is a bit off is my only complaint, I always saw this as flowing in 4 acts (tracks 1-3, 4-6, 7-11 and of course Cop Shoot Cop) but that isn't quite made real on wax as Home of the Brave and The Individual are split across the two LPs which sort of disrupts the flow - this was definitely sequenced for CD, not vinyl. Only a minor issue though, otherwise it's a beaut.
