I didn't really notice that significant of a difference from the little clip. It's an odd choice to do a re-record on that one. Always thought the original sounded perfectly fine.

the thing is if they re-record it with super clean production all the balls and charm will be gone. though it may sound like if modern in flames started making that style of metal music again. so it may actually be what in flames could sound like in modern times if they never changed style.

it's not terrible, but Anders' annunciation catches the ear. The original production is fine, Clayman is a very good album, the last good In Flames album really. I'll jam the remake, but curious if there's anyone genuinely stoked about them rerecording this perfectly fine record.

My bad should have clarified, my comment was in context to "Reroute is as bad as Battles or Siren Charms". Haven't heard the latter 2, but I know its safe to presume they're bang average

I remember Reroute being pretty bad too. It *can't* have been as awful as Siren Charms or Battles, though.
