Still don't get all the love for that track. I guess I'm not too big a fan of that particular sound (How To Disappear comes to mind).

How to Disappear should have been the final form of that sound (unless you count Nude or maybe Codex); Daydreaming is ok

Daydreaming hit me a lot harder in 2016 than it does now for whatever reason. It's pretty but overstays its welcome and the payoff isn't quite worth it. I get the most out of it on rainy day drives. Glass Eyes accomplishes the aura better and is among my favorites from this.

I do remember Daydreaming being a pretty ooh moment when it dropped as a single, but maybe that had to do with how it sounded after Burn the Witch?

I will agree that a minute could have been cut off from daydreaming but the piano melody is really pretty and i like the dreamy atmosphere. The entire song sounds like it's daydreaming itself

Actually now i'm relistenimg the length is perfect. The strings that are coming in the end are wonderful

Daydreaming is a bare, reflective ode to ones perished love with tendrils reaching out to the everlasting indelible echelons of what that love actually encompasses and represents.

Glass Eyes is about a train journey and stuff and hits hardest when sunlight filters through the spring trees and warms the face.
