I don’t get why people act like nerds here without understanding the basics of the music industry? An album is more than just music, it's a blend of performance, recording, mixing, packaging, track arrangement and more. Or maybe you're just saying the songs on Lateralus are better compositions than those on Fear Inoculum, but if that's the case, you're either deaf or plain wrong. OK I'm kind of too old to just be a mean troll on the internet but this is truly the best original pasta I've ever seen drop that wasn't intentionally trying to be ironic/create pasta.
So lets unpack this in a real, adulty way.
-Original statement that basically boiled down to "the better album is not the better album" was flimsy at best, poorly worded certainly, and could at least use some clarification as to your meaning beyond what you said.
