Beautiful album, so much effective minimalism and "less is more" approach that they don't quite replicate elsewhere

Absolutely. They really play well with silence on this one. Love it when bands are confident enough to do that.

Don't think I've actually heard the bonus tracks tbh

If they ain't capturing the magic of this weird crepuscular folk horror I'll prob keep it that way

They are good but I don’t think they offer anything more to the album really.

The Sorceress bonus tracks I really enjoy tho

This was the only album needed from the prog era, but seems like it gave Mikael the needed time to heal his throat.

Still not a big fan of the album, but I love Face In The Snow. It feels like a continuation of Patterns In The Ivy plus I'm a sucker for wintery-sounding music.

Well...it's certainly clear that I like death metal a lot more than I like 70's prog rock.

I also won't stand for this Damnation slander (the best moments on this album are when they heard in that direction and ditch most of the keys).

I've come around on this one massively, also soured on Damnation quite a bit so this>Damnation at the very least

Absolutely Stormy. No contest for me, this is peak Peth, Damnation is somewhere near the bottom for me nowadays.
