i mean do you want a list of worthwhile specifically male japanese electronic artists bc that would keep us here all day
gonna venture that it'd be more productive to consider that the prevailing consensus on kid a as a groundbreaking masterpiece is dominated by critics and listeners who come from an overwhelmingly alt/indie background like yourself. it's a solid album and i like it a lot, but imma pour another one out before i sweat through another round of shrugs and IMOs from folks who have virtually no reference points within its actual field
