I'd be curious to hear your thoughts as to why. I haven't really made my mind up. There's parts I like better and parts I don't as much, but I can't tell if it's just because of familiarity with how it "should" be.

I compared the first 20 seconds of Andromeda, Decoys, and Escape Pod back and forth 3 times over and the best parts about the first album are not even audible or over produced to the point of losing the original vibe. I need to listen to the album still but those comparisons on major vibe points make me uneasy.

New mix is inferior yeah. Loses a lot of what made TSY special. A remaster was necessary, but the new mix kind of kills the atmosphere. Also, the drums are so loud in the mix it buries the guitars.

These guys have such a hard time with getting efficient support from the people around them. Trustkill fucked them up, that pro video dude did a horrible job for their concert with no vocals basically, their current label wont release their ep but now they want their ep and lp released, now someone has fucked up a remaster by remixing it like a child. What the hell man
