>I would physically ascend immediately if I witnessed Eclosion live

There are always a few empty shoes after an Alcest concert.

This might be my least favorite Alcest but when it’s good it’s REALLY good (the middle run)

I witnessed Explosion live, it was beautiful. Especially the outro with the lone guitar, crowd was dead silent.

Amethyste was special live.

Really stood out in the setlist.

Was surprised they only played and hour and a half, but I'm totally out of the concert circuit and was told that's "about normal" for today's standards.

Idk but i feel like Neige is the Kevin Parker of Black Metal, does that make sense to anyone else too?

Feel like Amethyste is quickly becoming a top 5 Alcest song

And no, Kevin Porter dropped off heavily, Neige isn't from here so definitely don't feel he has a comparison

It's so nice to return to this. I will see them soon, so I am preparing by spinning their discography

I saw them at the Kodama tour cycle, which was a delight. That's when I learned about The Ocean too, they were support back then. Massive!

This album keeps growing on me. It's such a nice vibe

I remember when I saw them (Kodama tour as well!), and they had this completely random band called Arbrynth supporting who I'd never heard of in years around the Melbourne metal scene. It felt like Alcest pulled them out of a hat or something, was super bizarre lol

Yesss, they're doing it so well. L'Envol has me amazed every time I listen to it atm. I also really dig the opener much more than most people, it seems. It's a good track.

i told jesper at the concert that this is probably more of a 3.5, but i'm still loving it now

i think the reality is that i'm too much of an alcest simp to have any of their studio albums below a 4

I can't bring myself to raise my score on this primarily because the other Alcest records I have listened to are even better, but I am not ashamed to say I have listened to this thing in full at least 50 times I think
