took exactly 5 days for a Periphery thread to fly off the rails completely.

tuneless constipation is an astute descriptor of misha's guitar playing
chug farts in odd time signatures with occasional relief marked by light milieu poop drops in the background

“ It's like he's crying out for help in the latter song and really struggling”
It’s funny because this is exactly what he sounds like to me too only it’s a negative thing lol

"tuneless constipation is my favourite emotion also" lol it's not like he's off-key or off-beat, you just dislike his tone
"It’s funny because this is exactly what he sounds like to me too only it’s a negative thing lol" I like it because the subject matter calls for that exact type of vocal performance. Opening up can be a struggle. It's a relatable experience for those struggling with depression and negativistic thoughts, and Anders channels that feeling well to me.

In Flames started falling off to me after A Sense of Purpose. Anders' lyrics have always been ass but yeah, there was a genuine emotion in his voice that I loved. New album is a bit better than the 3 or so before it, but still doesn't hold a candle to the

Definitely fell off a bit but the only thing I outright dislike was the Clayman re-recordings. Those were ass.

Marigold is a fucking reach for depth in lyrics, that song is literally a try-hard in terms of prog. I could not care less about that song.

all I'm saying is this band violated some Geneva Convention laws against music in some of their songs and P3 is the worst culprit, I hate seeing people defend that album because it was laughably bad

they're always trying to lean into something that people will enjoy and the only recent testament to that is Reptile and then Wildfire

Broh even with all the loud hatred of P3 on this site, it’s still sitting at a 3.4. Go listen to the latest WCAR album and then tell me P3 is really so unbearably awful. Even though it’s uneven, there are some good fucking songs on that album. Absolomb? The Way the News Goes? Remain Indoors? Absolutely delicious tracks. I would lick the own nips to those songs if I could reach
