this is a lot dirtier and angrier. there's just about no tact to it. but there's some insanely pretty parts. but if you call W&T mediocre, you are not worthy of this band.
anyway, fourthreich gets it. it's an intense reaction and that's why it's still intense listening to this day. it was way too angry and not sad enough for my last breakup, i don't even remember what i was into

it is without a single doubt the most grossly overrated post-hardcore album of all time and i honestly can't figure out why. nothing on it sounds particularly innovative or interesting and the vocals are so fucking annoying

i sound like sobhi saying this but honestly, like thrice and brand new and godspeed you! and so many other bands on this site, they can seemingly do no wrong. there are way better albums in the genre. thursday, fear before, at the drive-in, hot cross, refused, etc., all have way better albums
