this whips ass. might be my favorite post seasons slayer. heavy as hell. so many awesome riffs. great variety between the thrash bangers and the more groovy ones. tom is still in top form, i will never get why some people don't dig him. so pissed and clear in his delivery. maybe the album with their best hooks throughout. makes you want to shout along. eyes of the insane, jihad and cult are so much fun.
flesh storm and supremacist are awesome thrash rippers. and catatonic is one of their coolest songs. that main riff sounds like a sleep song. goes so hard. they could've been a dope sludge band.
great album! kind of feels like a natural followup to seasons of the abyss and would be viewed a lot higher if released in the 90's.

haha for sure. haven't gotten to anthrax yet but is this probably the best 21st century release of the big 4? death magnetic, endgame and dystopia all pretty close. think i'd give the edge to this because it sounds the closest to their prime.
