I’m sure the band could continue to make great music, but I’m trying to imagine Where He Inserted The Knife without that insane performance and… naw, Isaac makes this album

I think these tracks are quite carefully crafted around his performance, so yes yes agreed that none of the other members (aside from maybe percussion sometimes idk imma relisten) prove themselves as a ~driving force, but that's no cause to write them off from doing so in future
all is tbc and ain't that exciting

Snow Globes is quite literally incredible. Most of this is (at worst), at least somewhat entertaining. Concorde is growing on me, very good song. Blade continues to be enjoyable. Basketball has some substantially satisfying moments, combined with some stuff I can't really wrap my head around - it just comes together in slightly odd fashion for me... mostly cool though.
I have been converted.

I remember being partial to "Blade" the most
|

hot take Snow Globes worst track apart from Mark theme and maybe Chaos Space Marine
Blade and Concorde are the big hitters

it’s kind like how when the driving force of Joy Division was gone, the remaining members went on to create something even better.

Blade is stunningly overrated in every circle of the internet I've seen. kinda baffling
Concorde, Haldern, Bball the big 3

Shoot, I picked the popular opinion! Should've gone with the intro track, my credentials are toast now.

Bread Song is v great and idk where I'd rank it ok let's see
Concorde > Blade > Haldern > Bread > Good Will/Basketball > Snow Gloves > Chaos Space
close call

I can see Bread being relatively high, certainly Concorde. Chaos Space and Mark Theme near the bottom end. Haldern I'm undecided on, it's decent. Blade is definitely good, could see it becoming less impactful the more I listen. Early big hitter though.
Anything with Snow Globes that low is automatically invalid, of that I'm certain. Sorry Johnny.

yeah concorde is def the only song that sticks out to me
