It sounds like great btbam, but I can't do it, I think I'm too old.

After having skipped their last 3 albums I'm wondering if I should go and check them out. Really enjoying this one

It's probably not a terrible idea. The Automatas are pretty short albums so it won't take too long to get through them. I recently discovered that I really REALLY like Coma Ecliptic even though I thoroughly disliked it when it was released.

Goddamn, finally took the time to dig into this and it actually slaps. I haven't been able to get into anything they've released since TGM but this just checks all the boxes. It feels like the band has energy again, and I think a lot of that is because they lean into the heaviness and core influences a lot more. I feel like that was always integral to BTBAM's sound and it's just been so lacking for so long.

Got burnt out on BTBAM after it being my favorite band for several years as a teenager. Seeing them perform The Parallax II twice kind of burnt me out. Barely listened to the Automata album and haven't paid much attention to them in a while.

Fix the Error popped up for me lately and it was really fun. Decided to check out this album even though I was worried. It's honestly great. They just feel like they got creativity and energy back with this one.

So far so good 5 tracks in and they all slap. Fun af, prod is top notch...how the heavy parts flow into acoustic and softer parts are weirdly organic for the genre. Also dig some clewr 70s prog cuts here (pf, jethro etc)

You shouldn t go to these guys in a hurry imo, so I had to settle my prev listens to fully go for this silly journey.
