The problem I have with this is that it's blatantly derivative. The performance and technicalities are pin point perfect but it's not original at all. Every second of this album I feel I'm hearing a band trying to sound like Ulcerate, Gorguts or Deathspell Omega instead of creating something of their own. If the manage to create their own personality they could be crazy good.

I know I'm starting a war but I don't care. I tell it as I hear it, and trust me, I've tried to love this album many times but I can't help myself noticing the obvious. Sometimes influences are present, but here they are too present, and not in a good way. I give it a 3,5 generously because as I stated the musical performances are nitid.
