Rooms was absolutely their worst imo. It had no energy and just meandered and went nowhere. This has a bit more energy, but it doesn’t grab me at all. Debut has the most energy and I love it despite its cheesiness, while Wildlife was a noticeable downgrade, still had some interesting ideas. Just think this band doesn’t have much to offer me anymore.

I found this one to be "La Dispute by the numbers" essentially like Rooms, but both are great albums. This one plays it a bit safer though.

wish i could get into La Dispute's newer stuff but it's just so boring. i like the aesthetics and visuals on this project tho

Rooms is way better than y'all are giving it credit for. I was initially not a fan of its lower energy but I've come around. It's still no Wildlife, but then again, neither is this (and likely they'll never reach those heights again)

Went to the final Odesza show in LA this weekend and got to meet their artist who also happened to do the album art for this, which was pretty neat. He did give my gf some creepy winking though but I guess its just boys being boys!

Fulton Street II appreciation. The 2nd half grew on me a lot and now it might actually be my favorite on this album. Definitely top 10 LD
