The range is the same, he just sounds way more tired. He probably did tons of takes on LITSOS.
I have the bonus version of DTGL, and there's some footage of him recording vox, and he sounds amazing... it's a shame his technique blew.

i remember reading this review when this first dropped and how shocked i was that an underoath album didn't suck

And it indeed does not suck.

listen again, it rules. tbh, their only album i don't really listen anymore is Act of Depression. It's not that bad, just way to repetitive and drawn out.

Me too. I even like TOCS a lot, but didn't like Lost In the Sound at all. Act of Depression just had horrible production.

to whom it may concern is a fantastic song.

Where was Underoath's Grammar/Spell check? - 'In regard to myself' is how it should be written.
'kind regards, give my regards', but not 'in regards to'
I'm being a smart arse in a futile attempt to resist the sometimes error riddled evolution of language. When William (French Guillaume) conquered England in 1066, French became the official language during his reign. Before this, the English language was more Germanic in its sound and spelling. How times change.
I like this album btw, lol in regard to my own grammar.

Dude there is a band called Knives Exchanging Hands and every time I see that name I want to kill someone because it's such butchered english. Totally feel your pain man.
