I'm new onto this i know...but this thread was something else to me. When you dissect to much an album (and low rate it) just to prove your point instead of truly appreciate what was done by the artists themselves, disregarding all the positive aspects, focusing on the flaws. and commenting redundantly and negatively every time someone tries to praise it.
Yeah I feel you Demon, the balance is hard but its important to give space for people to give a free opinion. But in general, I always prefer a positive hype than a negative one.

deftone bro just cuz positives may exist doesnt necessarily mean that they outweigh the negatives (for everyone). like when i listen to that haken band im like man this isnt bad for modern prog but when i haer the guy's vocals i want to shoot myself in the face they're so fucking bad i just turn that shit off. sometimes a single point like that can be enough to completely ruin your experience.

my point was there is no right or wrong, to you the vocals might be good or at least tolerable, but to me they are so bad that nothing else about the music matters, it's too much.
