yea, we got the power live is still not that good, but at least the more laid back, minimal instrumentation is a nice change of tone.

kinda would've liked to hear the finished version still with the brass but they did a good job with it here

There's a whole lot of songs here, but really only a few standouts. Saturnz Barz is a pretty genius song in how simple it is yet it does a lot of cool things. Probably my favorite.
A lot of songs have a decent passage or two but the song as a whole is meh.
Still, the album is a good listen if you like Gorillaz

proper opening trio of Ascension, Strobelight, and Saturnz Barz is so good and then it just continues to fall off from there with a few exceptions (Busted and Blue, Let Me Out, & Hallelujah Money mainly)
Sex Murder Party is without a doubt the worst song I've heard this year
then again, I haven't listened to anything recent by Snide
there may be hope for it yet
