i think i actually slightly prefer the bad production on KoC to this though cus it at least kinda clanky and intense sounding. this just sounds so devoid of any intensity

These guys are so underrated as creators of incredible quality Death Metal with their own signature sound. Most other bands who could produce this quality of material at this late stage in their careers would be astounding but with these guys it’s so unsurprising because they have consistently produced high quality material throughout their entire careers. The fact that Death Metal isn’t more popular and musicians like these guys having to STILL work a second job to pay the bills is a crime. These guys deserve to be millionaires and live comfortably into old age.
