Would you say they’re better than La Dispute? Because those guys are fucking awesome. Wildlife and Panoroma are amazing.

Yeah. Though I gotta admit I think La Dispute is overhyped. I never had too much love for them.

But I also just really don’t care for Jordan’s vocals. La Dispute is fine they’re just not really my thing.

Fair enough man, I get it. His vocals were definitely an...acquired taste for me.

Jordan's vocals grow on you in time. I absolutely loathed him when I first heard Somewhere At the Bottom...

King Park, Safer in the Forest, Edward Benz, Woman Reading, Said the King to the River, The Last Lost Continent, Fulton St, There You Are, You Ascendant etc — La Dispute has a ton of amazing songs.

OT but St. Paul Ministry Baptist Church has probably one of my favorite metaphors in all of music.

Bumped this to 5 today when I realized I cried to this again last night oops.

La Dispute have become worse with time, while Touche just keep it consistently excellent. I'd argue La Dispute struck similar highs to Touche on the first couple records though.

But I say that having just not liked Rooms of a House and never having listened to Panorama.

You should give Panorama a chance. I didn't care for Rooms (minus a few songs) but loved Panorama. It's much more subtle, quiet, and introspective than their other albums.

Maybe I'm just stuck in high school but subtle and quiet isn't what I really want from them. lol Definitely gonna try it out soon though.

And yeah, imo, Jeremy is a better lyricist than Jordan, despite them both being next level. Jordan just feels way more cheesy and melodramatic about it. lol

Dude the way he delivers that line sends chills down my spine every time.

Jeremy is the king of lyricism in this genre, next to Brendan from Counterparts. Jordan is indeed very melodramatic lol.
