This is really great so far. I'd say that my first impression of this is that it's of high quality.

"If Vektor and the Dear Hunter finish on top of the charts this year (of all years) then it shows the stubbornness of Sputcore"

I feel insulted for being associated with Sputcore

Am I the only one who finds his voice in I Need You mildly irritating?

Still need to listen to this album in full but the amount of pain and defeat in his voice on Girl In Amber ruined my week

"Am I the only one who finds his voice in I Need You mildly irritating?"

I dont know, but I do find his voice has insanely beautiful moments and then some really off ones that make me uncomfortable, but I suppose thats the point of them; like in 'Magneto' where he says "the urge to kill someone was basically overwhelming", and the first time he says "and one more time with feeling." I can't decide whether his delivery is put on and over the top or whether he's just really fucking emotional; I'm coming round to the latter view.

This thing is growing on me a tonne which has been a pleasant surprise

i've been listening to this in bed over the last week and i keep falling asleep by the third or fourth song. it's definitely interesting but kind of grating and i'm thinking i should start the album at track four tonight.

or, ya know, just not listen to it in bed
