I found this to be a really easy listen, nothing particularly great, but nothing awful. Once you get over the fact that these guys will never replicate S/t or even TOYPAJ, this is fun. S'bout on par wit Enema tbh.

Nah, Enema had Adam's Song which is one of their best (imo), and all Tom's songs were great there, plenty of memorable guitar riffs from him. Not to mention the production there destroys this one.

Tom's songs on Enema are arguably the height of stupid pop-punk

Probably, but at least they are fun without making me cringe, partly because they felt genuine and juvenile instead of forced. Plus, he sure does (or did) know how to write catchy riffs.

No I was saying that as a good thing. Every Tom song on that album is one of the absolute best in its genre

Oh, I totally misinterpreted that lol but ya I agree

I wish they'd continued their development instead of going back to the start

Man, Los Angeles coulda been super sweet. It's got a monster chorus but... what is that production?

San Diego to California is the worst part of the record but aside from that three song streak I have fun with this

Simple enough,
Album is okay - but boring.

Box Car Racer should have been the evolution of Blink-182.

Indeed. but then again, I hate this band so I suppose I'm biased

Im a massive Blink 182 fan and have been for a long time but this album is so average its not funny. Not sure why you hire the producer from some of the shittest bands on the planet and expect better results.
