OvDeath you must be kidding, I listened to presumably your highest recommendation (Prelude) and well, average. Then again, hardly surprising coming from someone who rates Ne Obliviscaris 3.5/5

"Then again, hardly surprising coming from someone who rates Ne Obliviscaris 3.5/5"
Thiiiis guy lol
I hear similarities to pink Floyd and between the buried and me at times but I wouldn't consider anything on here a straight rip off.

You can probably find some sort of crossover in any music if you try hard enough. It's really not worth thinking about it so hard, just enjoy the music! =D
Also, I'm starting to think OvDeath is beating Noctus in taste that is impossible to figure out.
Difference is Noctus is like "yeah, my tastes are pretty weird haha" and OvDeath is like "no I just like good music whereas you are dumb" lol

LCD is my favorite track behind Recharging now.

Breakdown in LCD just obliterates. Main riffs in Cygnus Terminal and Ultimate Artificer also rule hard. Etc etc etc

"On the Pink Floyd reference: the first sung line "Illuminate what remains" in the clean part of Recharging The Void is similar to the first line of "On the Turning away". Otherwise: no similarities whatsoever."
Yeah... I was playing them back to back and wasn't really seeing it.
Similar I suppose. Which is why it has been mentioned. And on top of that they have backing vocals reminiscent of The Great Gig in the Sky. They were laying on the Pink Floyd reference pretty thick, but they weren't ripping anything off really.
