Not that my opinion really matters on this artist since I never listened to this album or any others, but the new one is pretty ass.

Kid Cudi has forgotten how to pace a song properly and even the new songs he's previewed share the same flaw (although yeah they're better than anything here). Frequency was the worst though, it starts great and then just goes on for so long before the meat of the song finally starts

On the new album the production is flat and songs never go anywhere. Most of the songs are over 4 minutes and they just stagnate for their duration. However, the biggest flaw is Cudi's drab singing and horrible melodies. He does this crooning thing on a lot of the songs and it just sounds awful.

Oh and the album is 90 minutes of that shit too.

i agree hard with you pete. Along with most of the lyrics the pacing of all his newer stuff is just awful.....



It's like he finds one idea he likes and tries to stretch it out for 4 - 5 minutes with little to no variation throughout...
