clarence clarity isnt even close to aoty, its in my top 100 for sure but it gets overrated just because its noisy experimental r&b shit and for some reason that makes people get all fap-happy and ignore its flaws

the most memorable album of the year

and nah i said the vocals just push this so much further into perfection, there are no flaws being covered up by them

like i literally have not a single complaint about this

clarence clarity tho yeah its a great record and an awesome idea but its far from perfect

i dont mean to be un-insightful id probably contribute a better explanation and mention what drags that clarence clarity album down if i wasnt so cripplingly hungover but alas

I think now now is pretty much perfect. I only didn't care for the short tracks

No now's tendency to indulge in its glitchy and noise passages is interesting for the most part but occasionally threatens to lose focus of the entire album. And they also feel rather ~novel~ on repeated listens. But it's still one of my favorites so i can't really complain.

^

basically how I feel about it, and even the short tracks just paled in comparison to the other tracks on No Now. Honestly I like every track, except that Tathagatagarbha thing.
