I'm far from a Kanye fan but he's a very skilled producer.

Hes a shit rapper though and a mediocre lyricist

He should just do collabs and shit and do nothing but production

What do you guys think about the new King Kunta video? I dunno if I liked it or not, at least didn't love it. The "let's shoot the video in a hood with random people" idea is kinda cool tho

@Ritvik: I can't even which is my favorite on here yet

I liked the video, shooting it around the Compton Swamp Meet, going back to his roots, in an interview he said he knew nearly everyone featured in the video whether it be friends, family, or just anyone he grew up with in Compton. I enjoyed that a celebrity didn't forget his roots, more often than not people become famous and forget about their hometown and the people that helped them. Also i feel like the young kids in the video could be the next Kendrick, just like a young Kendrick was in the crowd for a 2pac video in that area, "‘You was one of them kids looking at ‘Pac when he was up here doing that; now they’re looking at you.'” Great video imo.

I love his rapping most of the time.

His rapping's real solid on his first 2 albums, after that he started simplifying a lot for the sake of the pop appeal he was going for but still good

What do you guys think about the new King Kunta video?

It was too... Stiff. I don't know - It didn't seem like much was going on, it almost seemed like it could've been filmed by literally anyone with a camera during a party. Maybe that was what they were going for since it's supposed about Compton (a place with high poverty) but idunno
