I can't drive lol, bus trips and riding shotgun also qualify.
I tell ya, listening to "talking shit about a pretty sunset" onboard a greyhound barreling across the wasteland that is northern Utah is something else entirely.

Is it just me or is there an influx of people who don't know how to drive these days. It confuses me
|

Yeah man, driving's expensive

There's some hilarious shit on this record. The song Beach Side Property is fun, lmao, Isaac is like ''WWOOOOOOOOOOOOOWW!!!! said the broken Californian down on the beach that used to be by the beach'' How he screams ''Wow'' is priceless. One of my favorite things about the band is his sarcasm and mockery of society.

You can tell how good a live rendition of Beach Side Property will be by the first 20-ish seconds alone
That WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW is iconic.

The opening of "Novocain Stain" instantly calms me :')
Also, Side C of the vinyl release of this baby might be my favorite side of vinyl ever, or at least way up there - the stretch from "Tundra/Desert" to "Talking Shit" is immense.
Well, really the stretch from "Tundra" to "Mechanical Birds," but the latter is on Side D

Also also, the moment where "Tundra" ups its ante even further and goes completely apeshit is bae

I'm talking about the outro where it speeds up, although that scream is iconic as well

Will I be lynched for saying "Breakthrough" is a better Pixies song than anything the Pixies ever wrote? Because it just might be.

Much as I'm enjoying TLCW even more than this "Talking Shit" remains my favorite song between the two, just an incredible song in every way.
