Have this one rated the same as Pinkerton. But this makes me unequivocally happy while Pinkerton makes me unequivocally sad. So I listen to this one with far more frequency.

^its for that reason I love this a little bit more than Pinkerton. This album is such a jam, no matter the mood, whereas I listen to Pinkerton when I'm feeling really depressed. This and blue album are my favorites

Well in terms of emotional impact, pinkerton wins. But it's messy. . In terms of pitch perfect songwriting, blue, reigns. Emotional impact is secondary for me- the songwritings gotta be on point. I love Pinkerton don't get me wrong, I just love blue a tiny bit more because of that

if blue has "pitch perfect songwriting" then how does pinkerton not? both are great examples of how to make nerdy, wacky, youthful pop rock songs but blue has a few forgettable and downright annoying tunes. i certainly prefer pinkerton as it's louder, sadder and definitely more consistent

@clover- That's my criteria for Weezer only. Weezer's super reliant on the quality of the songs, rather than lyrical content. Back to the shack for example has terrible lyrics, but has great everything else

@art- I see what you mean. I totally agree on you with Pinkerton, it's a modern masterpiece. But so is Blue, for me at least. Also, I listen to blue way more than Pink, so that probably has something to do with it as well haha
