That album wasn't really that good to be honest, completely eclipsed by The Well-Intentioned Virus. Not to mention new Dillinger.

I respectfully disagree; dillinger's new one was great, but I had been waiting for that caliber of release from Norma Jean since Redeemer; the general avg. is a 4 on sputnik, thus outdoing all of their previous releases. Dissociation was no better or worse than their previous release. Fantastic collection of songs, but nothing particularly new to the table.

Well-Intentioned Virus I never listened to.

i'm quietly confident but I don't wanna be disappointed so i'll just wait and see. In any case i don't think they'll release anything objectively shit anyway

Been a while since I've spun Zao. I'll follow your advice but if it comes up short, I'm blaming you haha

Used to it lol.

But give it a chance. Melds their old style with more melody, trademark screams and really well-placed cleans.

I could never get into "Well Intentioned Virus". It was pretty generic IMO

Well off my first listen it's certainly not bad. We'll see how quickly I want to return to it; that'll generally indicate my appreciation for it.

Venomnote, make more sense.

I just saw them on the tour with Periphery and Norma Jean. I was underwhelmed with their past releases, caught between wondering if I just didn't get it or I was looking too hard for something that wasn't there. Have to say....they were pretty captivating. Songs I was bored with on the album carried some extra weight, as is typical in a live setting, but I think mixing in some Exoplanet heaviness really sets apart the lush soundscapes of Language. I'd watch them again, mostly because I WANT to like this band. I really do.

Yeah seeing them live was more of a treat than I thought. Fallujah disappointed and these guys exceeded expectations.

"Fallujah disappointed"

I thought Fallujah killed it when they opened for BDM. They still strike me as youngbloods, though. More time on the road will fine-tune their live show.
