were you there ALA? cos it seems like you're using a video as literally the only basis to your (highly biased) argument whereas the song is literally based on the testimony from (and written from the perspective of) Jeremy's students who obviously didn't have an objective, nice view of the kid.

Ooh yes the ending of black is one of the best moments here, having a hard look at the tracklist this is probably more of a 4 for me, still love this a lot but vs and vitalogy are better. Yield and no code also give this a pretty good run imo, which is an unpopular opinion but whatever ahah.

Mentally deficient is a stretch but the violence thing is a different story, that whole 'and he hit me with a surprise left' line, it was reportedly taken from actual testimony of his classmates. They said he pulled a punch on this other kid that used to bully him, this supposedly happened only a couple of days before his suicide, they were surprised because he wasn't normally prone to violent behavior and his attitude was all changed in his last couple of days. This i know for sure was in news articles, you can even find em on the internet if you look it up well enough ahah.
