For me, Torture would’ve been the perfect follow up to this as they are both really, really similar (Torture really is Kill 2). I just find the songs on Torture, in general and overall, to be a tad better. Plus, that dirty, filthy, grinding riff on Scourge is signature Corpse that can be overlooked. Torture is even my favorite Corpse album on given days. Stud.

I mean torture is also a fantastic choice, can’t argue there. Zero complaints about that album, this one I just prefer cause it encapsulates everything I love about this band into one album. Prob #10 on my dm albums of all time.
