Side A's better but Side B has its fair share of jams.

I love the shoegaze/dream-pop production on "Get Hi," makes up for the relatively lacking lyrics and vocals.

| |
Side b is pretty fucking terrible. I can't stand songs like smoking and drinking, dip, handstand, and break it. I do really like kush coma and float on though

digging the new one way more than this

i didn't like it as much but that was just my first impression. i actually didn't like danny's vocals most of the time

I wouldn't say I love his vocals at any point but they're still entertaining as fuck and I think he has much better bars on the new one. The beats are also 100x improved
dope avi btw ryus

Get Hi is a really nice switch up in style for me and the production is beautiful
Dance In The Water is the only relatively weak track imo but the hook and production are still stellar so

yeah Ryus love your avatar, what did you think of the finale?
|

i almost wanted danny to full dark on AE but i know people love that spacey goof drug haze shit that he does too, i just feel like tracks like get hi disrupt the murk.
but i guess if you go too far into that territory you get earl's i don't like shit which many didn't like though i think it's sick

| |
I think AE has the perfect balance and the fact that Get Hi is at the end of the album helps a lot
|
| |
u guys all love the new one on first listen? just finished and I dont even know what to say. could be a 4.5 or a 1.5 hahahaah its whackkkyyyy
|
| |
It took me a few listens to fully get into since it's so extreme and inaccessible, but I'm all in now. It's his best

Yeah, it's not as immediate overall as this or Old, but it's probably his most technically cohesive project sonically and conceptually.

after a few listens, really digging AE but I still can't stand Get Hi
