I never understood why indie by itself is actually considered a genre. I've always understood it as a band that isn't backed by a major label. It doesn't really describe the type of music they play at all.

I loved this when I heard it the first few times. Massachusetts and Departures are brilliant, but the album as a whole is slowly growing off me. I'll spin it again in a few days and see if I feel the same way. May end up lowering it.
