What's wrong with "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" ? It's an interesting tale about a murderer with a theremin in it. It's so entertaining. "Octopus's Garden" is probably the worst song on the album, but it isn't really all that bad either.

I always loved how The Beatles would create memorable characters and you seem to hate both songs on Side 1 that do that...

And Abbey Road has a ton of Paul, more than John by far actually. So the fact that Abbey is your favorite doesn't make

sense Skylark.

Also if you can only handle him in small doses, the fact that Maxwell is his first song on Abbey Road means it shouldn't

bother you.

You guys say that like it's a bad thing. Don't you guys ever appreciate a variety of opinions?

Hey, I respect your opinions, Ars! They're avant-garde-favoring, but not in a elitist or contrarion way. You find genuine enjoyment in the wild side. Rock on. I like Maxwell for the moog (pretty sure it's not a theramin...you're thinkin Beach Boys). For me, I'd say the worst song on Abbey Road is "Oh Darling." It's just a boring RnB love song. Something is great but no revelation of awesomeness like "Tomorrow Never Knows"

Overall I think Revolver is the better album.

Yeah, I looked it up and you're right, It's not a theremin. Sounds similar though, so a moog makes sense.

YES. "Tomorrow Never Knows" is my 2nd favorite Beatles song ever after "I am the Walrus."

Also, yeah avant-garde stuff is often sweet.

what Something and Oh Darling are in the top 5 on that album.

This would be much better if Doctor Robert was cut.

definitely the first half is near perfect, but the second half has the best song on the album. Man John Lennon's songs about sleeping are too good. (I'm Only Sleeping and I'm so Tired)

Yeah, first side is awesome but second side has more of the best songs, and doesn't have Yellow Submarine so it wins

Just realized She Said She Said is on the first side, so yeah jac discounting Yellow Submarine the sides
