Quite honestly, Somewhere and Wildlife are two VERY different records. I wish Wildlife would've been as memorable as Somewhere...Somewhere had riff after riff that would stick into your head, and Wildlife lacked that. I guess it made up for it with the lyrics (let's face it, these lyrics were amazing), and though it may seem like I'm attacking the record, I'm not. I loved it.

It would've been better as a spoken word album.

I completely agree. There's a definite amount of fanboyism in everything I feel for this band, but that aside, Dreyer writes digustingly well. And it's not like there's any shortage of talent in the rest of the band. AOTY for me at least. I could potentially forgive other people not enjoying this. But not likely.

Apples and oranges, imo, Prog. Wildlife is an entirely different beast than Somewhere..., so I have a hard time comparing the two.

^ that song's pretty overrated. Edward Benz is way better imo.

Didn't really dig Edward Benz. Though I adored the a Departure & a Letter.
Safer... has some ridiculously catchy guitar as well.
