In The Name of God and Endless Sacrifice hold themselves in DT's best songs, but the poor songs really do drag this down

In my opinion Stream of Consciousness is their only instrumental that can rival with their other songs; I just think that usually, in their instrumentals, they wander way too much between a boring wankery section to another boring wankery section without ever getting to the same level (I don't mean technical difficulty here btw) than in their typical instrumental sections inserted in most of their songs. However, Stream of Consciousness actually gets somewhere and explores much more ground than usually in their instrumentals.

It's no Reroute to remain but it's pretty good ;-). It was actually the first DT album I heard as a

whole, so there's some nostalgia there.

The guitar is too loud and should be more polished, but there are a lot of enjoyable sections. The wank is good on this. Haven't heard in a while though.

Systematic Chaos was my first but now it's pretty annoying at times. Fell in love with Scenes and 6Deg immediately after

The wank on this is some of the worst they've ever done.
