For the historic value it is classic (like The Jester Race and The Gallery), but sometimes it doesn't stand the time test. This used to be one of my favorite, but it quickly fell out of my top 5 albums, than 10, and so on.
Solid album all around, I'm going to have to go with a 4.

At The Gates never made much of an impact besides one wonderful album. In Flames was huge, but are slowly losing their influence. Dark Tranquility just came out with a new album that will expand Melodic Death Metal like Projector did for their last era.

Evaluating IF as a band (in terms of everything they've ever done) ain't easy...as far as AtG are concerned, Terminal Spirit Disease is excellent (would have topped this if it were longer) but I've yet to get into their early stuff
